How to watch BNP Paribas Open live on TV as Sunshine Double begins

Published

on

The BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells will feature the
world’s best tennis players and fans will be able to enjoy it from all over the
world.

The tournament held in California is one of
the most anticipated by tennis players and fans. For many, it is the
“fifth Grand Slam” because of its main draw with more players than
other Master 1000 tournaments (96 players), its great tradition, and its
wealthy prize money, which make it a must-stop for all top tennis players.
Although there are some big absences this year, there are still several players
who will fight for the trophy.

On the
men’s side, the main favorites seem to be Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz,
after the absence of Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic was confirmed. But players
like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud, and the 2022 champion Taylor Fritz also
have something to say. In the women’s draw, the absences of former World No. 2
Anett Kontaveit and young star Zheng Qinwen from China are the most notable.

Although no
longer the almost invincible player of last season, the main candidate is the
World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, who’ll try to retain the trophy she won in 2022, but
Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, or local players Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula
will try to take the crown from the Polish player.

Fans around
the world will be able to follow the TV broadcasts of both main draws in the
first tournament of the “Sunshine Double” to be played from March 8.
