1. Iomart has bought a legal sector IT specialist in a deal which could be worth up to £6.4 million.

The Scottish cloud computing company will pay £4.5 million in cash for Accesspoint, based in London, with the remainder of the price contingent on performance milestones being met.

Iomart reported an 18 per cent rise in revenue to £62 million in the six months to the end of September. Underlying profit was up 3 per cent to £7.6 million. Lucy Dimes, the chief executive, said trading in recent months is in line with forecasts.
