Kathryn Bryce powers Scotland to maiden Women’s T20 World Cup title

Kathryn Bryce has led Scotland to their first ever Women’s T20 World Cup. Scotland created history by defeating Ireland in the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier and secured a place in the Women’s T20 World Cup for the first time. Kathryn Bryce played an all-round role in Scotland’s victory in the semi-final.

Sports Desk, New Delhi. Sunday was a historic day for Scotland cricket as the women’s team qualified for this year’s Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. The Scotland women’s cricket team secured a place in the Women’s T20 World Cup for the first time. Catherine Bryce led Scotland from the front and added a golden chapter to their journey.

Scotland defeated Laura Delany-led Ireland by 8 wickets in the semi-final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Scotland were given the opportunity to bowl first and restricted the opposition to 110/9.
