Planning lodged for Glasgow regeneration project

1. Plans for a £95 million regeneration project featuring housing, a new park and a contemporary arts centre have been submitted.
Glasgow Enlightenment, the developer, has lodged a planning application for the Collegelands Park project. Along with two student accommodation blocks there will be 147 rental apartments.
The Collegelands Park project will be the final part of a major regeneration project in the Calton area of Glasgow
The arts centre will have sliding glass walls which will open out onto a courtyard, while two-and-a-half acres of green space will include orchards and meadows.
Collegelands Park will be the last gap site to be filled in as part of the Collegelands overhaul of the Calton area in Glasgow which was launched more than 20 years ago.
